Beehive Bazaar

I have been a busy girl down in my messy studio this month. The Beehive Bazaar is next week and here is a sneek peek at some of my latest creations. My hand painted dolls began as birthday presents for my ladies. I got such great feed back I have made a few for the show.

My funny little birds have lept out of my paintings and have come to life in paper mache! We will see how they do at the show too. If they are a hit I plan on selling them on Etsy, wish me luck!

This idea came to me in a dream. I have created these large bird dioramas. Don't you just want to climb in there and look around?

What else will you see? I know money is tight for all of us right now, which is why I decided to create a line of smaller recession friendly priced original paintings. Don't have any pics yet, stay tuned! Hope to see you there.

  2. i hope they're a hit, but not TOO much so, because I want the big red one in the back and the light blue little one in the front. They're so perfect! If/when you do add them to your etsy shop, please let me know (chelsealexander@hotmail.com)

  3. Hi Colett! I was just wondering if you might have any of your cute birdies left from the bazaar? I wanted to get a red one to match my blue one. :)

  5. I love your birds and your blog! I'm so glad you left a comment so I could find it. Back in Dec I started working on a shadow box much like the one you've made in the last picture....I believe we are kindred spirits :)
